You must have Anemone 3DS Theme Manager on the 3DS
You must have access to a computer with an SD Card slot (or some other configuration that allows an SD card to be read and opened by the computer)
I cannot teach you how to mod your 3DS. Not for gatekeepy reasons, I just don't know how. Someone else modded mine for me.
MANUAL DOWNLOAD W/ ZIPFILE:
I'll be using my Harvey Harvington theme for this tutorial.
You can find my themes here.
Download the 3DS theme's zipfile to your computer. KEEP THE FOLDER ZIPPED.
Move the zipfile from your downloads onto the SD Card.
If your SD card is organized properly, there should be a folder labeled "Themes".
Drop the zipfile into the "Themes" folder.
After putting the SD card back into your 3DS, open up the
Anemone 3DS Theme Manager.
Find the theme you downloaded and hold A.
WHILE STILL HOLDING THE A BUTTON press the 'Up" button on the D-Pad
(aka: the + shaped buttons, press the top one).
AFTER the theme finishes installing, close the Anemone application,
and power off the 3DS.
Once you turn on your 3DS, the theme should be set to the new one!
NOTE: There's a possibility that when you close Anemone to turn off your 3DS
that the new theme's background music will be playing alongside the old theme's visuals.
This isn't an issue! It happens to me every single time. But nothing is broken! Once you turn the DS off and back on,
the system will correct itself and the new theme (visuals and audio) will be set correctly.
